The
GFX-220 is an extremely viable and cost effective solution for customers
interested in increasing their screen real-estate via
multi-monitor support from a single PCI card.
Providing high-quality 2D graphics, video acceleration and razor sharp
image quality, the GFX-220 is a Solaris-Ready graphics accelerator which
supports 2 analog or 2 DVI flat panel displays on a single PCI card.
The GFX-220 supports 8 and 24 bit visual displays, simultaneously. The
8+24 bit video mode eliminates color-flashing problems by utilizing the
24-bit visual display, while still supporting 8-bit legacy applications.
The GFX-220 provides resolutions from 640x480 to 1920x1080, in both 8 and
24 bit modes. The resolutions provided are software configurable at the
user level.
Software drivers for the GFX-220 are optimized to provide the best
possible performance on Sun systems. The drivers are loadable and are
provided in standard packaging. They are completely compatible with the
Solaris operating system. The Raptor GFX-220 has been certified as
Solaris Ready.
