SCSI TERMINATORS

• Passive — Does not regulate power for termination and provides impedance close to that of the cable.
• Active — Controls the impedance at the end of the SCSI bus by using a built-in voltage regulator.
• Differential — Support longer cable lengths & higher data transfer speeds. Voltage fluctuations don’t affect data signals.
• Active negation — Restrict the SCSI III signal voltages to 3 volts. Controlling overshoot improves signal timing and integrity, which are essential to maintaining high speed data transfers.
